La Hacienda approached me to refresh their logo and develop an elegant packaging system that could carry their authentic Mexican flavours beyond the restaurant walls. Deeply rooted in cultural pride, La Hacienda has built its reputation on sharing heritage through taste, tradition, and hospitality. The opportunity was to ensure their visual identity reflected the same richness and integrity found in every dish they serve.
The logo refresh focused on honoring the brand’s heritage while elevating it with a more refined and cohesive aesthetic. Typography was carefully harmonized, and visual elements were modernized to create a mark that feels grounded, warm, and confident. The goal was not to reinvent La Hacienda, but to clarify and strengthen it, ensuring the identity could live seamlessly across signage, menus, digital platforms, and retail applications.
Building on that foundation, the packaging system was designed to translate culture into a tactile, shelf-ready experience. Inspired by traditional Mexican patterns, earthy tones, and bold yet elegant typography, each package communicates craftsmanship and authenticity. The system balances heritage and sophistication, allowing their small-batch salsas, sauces, and specialty products to stand proudly in both local markets and customers’ homes.
The result is a cohesive brand presence that bridges restaurant and retail. La Hacienda can now share its flavours with the world through packaging that feels as intentional and vibrant as the food itself, reinforcing the pride, culture, and tradition that define the brand.
